Deputy Prime Minister Dar engages in bilateral talks with Turkish Foreign Minister to strengthen Pakistan-Turkey relations

    According to a press release from the Foreign Office Spokesperson, during the 15th OIC Islamic Summit Conference in Banjul, The Gambia, two leaders convened on the sidelines.They expressed contentment with the current positive trajectory of their bilateral relations and stated their commitment to further enhancing cooperation, particularly in economic, trade, and defense sectors.

    Before this encounter, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in discussions with his counterpart from Niger, Bakary Yaou Sangare, covering a wide array of topics. Both ministers reaffirmed their dedication to fortifying bilateral dialogue and collaboration, especially in economic matters.

    The meeting between Ishaq Dar and Bakary Yaou Sangare occurred during the OIC Summit in Banjul, The Gambia, as highlighted in the press release issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson on Saturday. Additionally, the two sides deliberated on the coordination mechanisms within the OIC framework and committed to ongoing close collaboration to advance mutual interests within and outside the organization.

    Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed gratitude for Niger’s support to Pakistan across various regional and international forums, as well as its principled stance on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
