On the directions of the administrator of Karachi East district municipal corporation (DMC) and Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan, development work is going on in different areas of Jamshed Zone, DMC East.
In this regard, in the supervision of superintending engineer B&R Salman Memon, assistant executive engineers Nadeem Zaidi, Shahbaz Hassan and sub engineer Arshad Naeem, construction works were carried out at UC 4 Parsi Gate, Baloch Colony UC5 and UC7.
DMC East Administrator Rahmatullah Sheikh, during the inspection of the said works, stressed that development work is going on continuously in different places of district east through which facilities were being provided to the residents of east district.
Underground works are being carried out via coordination with concerned agencies before construction of roads, he added. Concerned agencies are being taken on board for this reason, he said, adding that efforts are under way to complete the construction of roads. He instructed the officers to erect speed breakers wherever required.
He said, “Before the arrival of monsoon season, we will try to complete the drain cleaning work.”
