Karachi police investigation reveals tragic murder of judge’s son over burger

The recent conclusion of a case in Karachi’s Defence neighborhood has brought to light the tragic murder of Ali Keerio, the son of a district and session judge. According to police investigations, Daniyal Mir Behr, the son of a retired police officer, has emerged as the prime suspect in this unfortunate incident.

After nearly two and a half months of meticulous examination and thorough investigation by law enforcement authorities, details of the case have come to light. The report, now in the hands of senior officials, reveals the series of events leading up to the fatal shooting, uncovering a narrative of strained friendship and its devastating consequences.

The incident took place in Defence Phase V, Bangla No. 4/18, altering the lives of those involved forever. Ali Keerio, a promising young man, met his untimely end due to a fatal gunshot allegedly fired by Daniyal Mir Behr.

The tragic sequence of events began innocently enough, with Daniyal inviting his friend Shazia to his residence. However, what started as a casual gathering soon turned chaotic and tragic.

Reports suggest that while Daniyal and Shazia were in another room, Daniyal ordered burgers and drinks for them. However, when the servant brought the order, Ali Keerio intercepted and consumed half of a burger in Ahmer’s room.

This seemingly minor incident sparked escalating tensions, despite attempts by Ahmer, Ali’s brother, to defuse the situation. A verbal altercation ensued, leading to Daniyal allegedly firing upon Ali Keerio, causing severe chest injuries.

Daniyal and Ahmer then rushed Ali Keerio to the hospital in their cousin’s car, but tragically, he succumbed to his wounds.

The investigative findings squarely place the blame on Daniyal Mir Behr, who is presently in custody awaiting trial as legal proceedings progress.
