President Zardari is set to convene with the Chief Minister, Governor of Balochistan, and other political and tribal figures during his upcoming visit. Additionally, he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Balochistan governor and participate in a high-level meeting in Quetta.
In a noteworthy development, President Asif Ali Zardari has endorsed the appointment of Jaffar Khan Mandokhail as the Governor of Balochistan. This decision follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recommendation, in line with Article 101 (1) of the Constitution, as confirmed by a statement from the President’s Secretariat.
The appointment of Jaffar Khan Mandokhail was proposed to President Zardari by PM Shehbaz Sharif after receiving approval from PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif. Mandokhail will succeed Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar, who assumed the role in 2022 as a leader of BNP-M.
