E-buses to hit Karachi roads after Eid

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has shared promising news with the public.

Memon announced that, in accordance with the directives of Chairman of the People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, new transportation projects will be initiated immediately after Eid. Among these initiatives, the second phase of the women-only pink bus service is set to be launched in Karachi.

Furthermore, Memon revealed plans to introduce new routes for electric buses shortly after Eid, along with the commencement of the People’s Bus Service in Mirpur Khas, aimed at enhancing travel convenience for the public.

In a bid to modernize transportation services, Memon announced the introduction of a cashless ticketing system for public transport users. Additionally, the Sindh government plans to introduce a free shuttle service to connect the Orange Line BRT and Red Line BRT, providing seamless connectivity for commuters. This free shuttle service for Karachi residents is scheduled to commence immediately after Eid.

The announcement signifies the Sindh government’s commitment to improving transportation infrastructure and ensuring accessible and convenient travel options for the people of the province.
