Pakistan Railways (PR) is considering a special Eid gift for travelers: lower fares on their special Eid trains!
Here’s the good news:
PR is looking into offering discounted fares for passengers using their special Eid trains this year.
Four special trains will be running to help people get home for the festivities.
The schedule is already set:
First train: Karachi to Peshawar, departing April 7th at 6:00 AM.
Second train: Quetta to Rawalpindi, departing April 7th at 10:00 AM.
Third train: Karachi Cantt to Lahore, departing April 8th at 9:00 PM.
Fourth train: Lahore to Karachi, departing April 9th at 5:00 PM.
Looking for a more comfortable journey? PR is expanding its popular “Premium Lounge” to other trains, including Tezgam and Hazara Express.
Hungry on the trip? No worries! The dining car can seat 45 passengers and offers a wide selection of over 40 dishes, including freshly baked roti from an onboard oven, barbecue, and even pizza!
Finally, PR assures that employee salary issues have been resolved, and they’re working on addressing pension and gratuity concerns as well.
