Elections only way to resolve Pakistan’s problems, Maryam Nawaz

Nawaz Sharif was victim of political injustice, PML-N chief organizer speaks to party’s Lawyers Wing

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz said on Sunday that elections were the only way to resolve Pakistan’s problems, and they should be conducted every five years.

Speaking to the leaders of the party’s Lawyers Wing in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif was a victim of political injustice.

“Your role in advancing Nawaz Sharif’s narrative is evident, and you have not received the attention you deserve at the top level,” she told the participants of the meeting. “You all supported my mother in the election, and you people supported me in difficult times with great passion,” she added

The PML-N senior vice president also said that the facilitators were at the center of PTI’s whole political system. She added that Imran Khan assaulted the judges, disregarded the constitution, and questioned the existence of Pakistan’s law while doing so.

The PML-N leadership was subjected to fabricated charges, the police were attacked at Zaman Park, and petrol bombs were hurled at officers, she continued, adding that the legal system in the country was unjust.

Who was still securing Imran Khan’s protection, Maryam Nawaz wondered? The Establishment is crucial to the PTI chief’s agenda, she continued.

If Imran Khan was not engaged in any illegal activity he must show up in court, PML-N chief organizer commended.

The senior vice president of PML-N acknowledged that elections were the only option for Pakistan and declared that her party would not attempt to avoid voting but rather be prepared for it.
