Engine of Allama Iqbal Express catches fire on its way to Sialkot

A fire incident occurred on the Allama Iqbal Express train while it was travelling from Karachi to Sialkot. The incident took place in the engine of the train near Feroza in Rahim Yar Khan, causing the suspension of train movements on the track.

Thankfully, all passengers and staff on board the train were reported to be safe with no casualties. Efforts are currently underway by railway officials to control and extinguish the fire in the engine of the train.

As a result of the fire, passenger trains have been halted at various stations and are awaiting further instructions. It is estimated that a relief train will arrive within two hours to assist in transporting the passengers to their destination by replacing the engine of the train.

The incident has caused disruptions to the train schedule and may result in delays for passengers on the Allama Iqbal Express route. Railway authorities are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved in the incident and to resume train services as soon as possible.
