Ex-New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson to represent USA in T20 World Cup

USA Cricket announced on Saturday that former New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson will be joining the national team squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in June.

His debut for the USA team occurred during the recent home T20 series against Canada.

The inclusion of the 33-year-old Anderson will bring valuable experience to the 15-member squad, which will be captained by wicketkeeper-batter Monank Patel.

The USA team is set to participate in a series of preparatory matches. Ahead of their World Cup campaign beginning on June 1 against Canada in Dallas, the US will play three T20 internationals against Bangladesh in Houston to gear up for the upcoming challenge.
