In the ongoing investigation into the firing incident at Salman Khan’s residence on April 14, Mumbai Police has apprehended a fifth suspect, Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary.
Chaudhary, arrested in Rajasthan, is suspected of conducting surveillance on Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment building on April 12 and sending videos of it to Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of incarcerated Lawrence Bishnoi.
Mumbai Police Crime Branch disclosed that Chaudhary will remain in custody until May 13 and revealed that he had met the shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, in the Kurla area on April 8 and April 11.
Earlier reports also indicated that Rafiq had provided funds to the shooters.
