‘Followed Lasith Malinga a lot’, says Zaman Khan

Pakistan fast bowler Zaman Khan revealed on Saturday that he closely followed the career of former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga.

Reflecting on his responsibilities as a bowler, Khan emphasized the pressure of delivering in the last over.

“The primary goal is always to secure a win for the team, especially when defending a slim margin of up to six runs in an over.”

He stressed the importance of consistent practice to execute precise deliveries under pressure.

Recalling his experience at the recent Asia Cup, Khan expressed his disappointment at conceding crucial boundaries in the final over.

“I was determined to clinch victory for the team, but unfortunately, I couldn’t seal the match.”

He admitted to feeling upset by the defeat, which affected his sleep. Khan also expressed gratitude for the support received from teammates like Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi during this challenging period.
