Four killed in Lodhran amid alleged land dispute shooting

Lodhran: Four individuals lost their lives in an alleged land dispute shooting incident in Lodhran on Wednesday.

Toseef ur Rahman, a resident of Chak No. 95M, reported that around 9 am, he and three others were at their dera when a group of armed men, including Muhammad Yasin Baloch, Muhammad Shawkin Baloch, Muhammad Imran Baloch, Muhammad Siddique, Muhammad Asif, and Dilshad Ahmed, arrived on motorcycles.

The accused allegedly opened fire, resulting in the deaths of Mujeeb Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, and Muhammad Rafiq, while Dilshad Ahmed sustained severe injuries and later died in the hospital. Law enforcement, led by DPO Hussam bin Iqbal, is investigating, with legal proceedings initiated and efforts underway to apprehend the accused.

Tensions between the Mangla and Baloch communities have been noted, with several prior incidents on record.
