I was in contact with Arshad Sharif the whole time: Faisal Vawda

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Vawda on Wednesday said that he was in contact with slain journalist Arshad Sharif the whole time and he is ready to give his phone for forensics.

He was speaking with the media at the Islamabad press club and said that Arshad Sharif’s murder was plotted in Pakistan. He
was either killed from inside the car or very close range.
He also said that it is not possible for a regular Pakistani or a political figure in Pakistan to coordinate the happenings in Kenya. “If I am killed, those who are behind all this will also be killed. Arshad Sharif did not want to leave the country and was not the kind to leave the country. But he was forced by instigators to leave,” he added.
He also warned and said that I can see blood and dead bodies in the long march. “I will expose the truth in the next few days. No ordinary person could have sent Arshad Sharif to Kenya. Who hid him there? who was he in touch with there? What did he do there? Behind the curtains are those who want to break the country and damage politics,” he said.

He also claimed that Arshad Sharif was in touch with the establishment; there was no issue, and he was ready to come back. But there are those who brainwashed him.
