I was superstar of cricket, want to teach youth about right path: PM Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan, while speaking at a public gathering in Mansehra, said that he was the superstar of cricket, had travelled the world and wanted to teach the youth about the right path through his own experience.

While addressing the gathering, he started his speech by saying that he spoke about Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his speeches not to gain support of people but because he truly believed in the teachings of Islam.

The prime minister also said that every time he thought of not saying the word ‘diesel’, it started ‘echoing’ around him and then he was forced to use the term in reference to the chief of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

PM Khan also accused the opposition of offering Rs200-250 million to lawmaker Saleh Muhammad to vote against him in the no-trust motion.

He said that the youth had always two paths to select from; one was right and the other one was the wrong path. He added that the right path was difficult to choose and that was the path followed by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

PM Khan said that the main reason for bringing the no-confidence motion was so that the opposition could blackmail him to get an ‘NRO’, but he would never fall for it.
