ICC nominates Shaheen Afridi for ‘Player of Month’ award

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the nominees for ‘Player of the Month’ for April.

Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is one of the nominees. He is joined by Namibia’s Jared Erasmus and UAE’s Mohammed Wasim. These players were chosen based on their performances during April.

In the T20 series against New Zealand last month, Shaheen Afridi achieved a remarkable milestone. He became the first bowler to take 50 wickets in the first over of a T20 match, a record-setting achievement in the format.
