Imran Khan endorses Sheikh Waqas for PAC chairman, denies refusal to meet Sher Afzal

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan, has given his approval for Sheikh Waqas to serve as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

This decision comes after thorough consultations with PTI leaders. Imran Khan’s endorsement of Sheikh Waqas as the PAC Chairman signifies a significant step in the party’s parliamentary proceedings. Once formally communicated to the Speaker’s office, Sheikh Waqas’s nomination will be official.

However, amidst this development, rumors surfaced regarding Imran Khan’s alleged refusal to meet Sher Afzal Marwat, a PTI leader.

Sher Afzal Marwat, while addressing the issue, denied the claims, asserting that there is no truth to the news of Imran Khan declining to meet him. He clarified that his scheduled meeting with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail was postponed, but he remains committed to meeting with the PTI founder as planned.
