‘Imran Khan! Khuda Hafiz’: Imran Ismail also quits PTI and politics

The list of politicians quitting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its Chairman Imran Khan keeps growing.

Imran Ismail, former Sindh governor and close aide of former prime minister, has also resigned from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI).

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Imran Ismail said, “Today is probably my last political press conference, I am one of the founding members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.”

He said that after 27 years of struggle, the PTI government was abolished in three and a half years. He said that the narrative started to form that PTI is competing with the Pakistan Army, my family is not with the Army, and so is my heart as well.

Imran Ismail said that those who attacked military installations should be punished.

He apologized to everyone anyone whose heart is broken, “I apologize, I am leaving PTI and all its posts, Imran Khan! Khuda Hafiz.” He also bid farewell to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
