Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan lauded the Lahore High Court decision on Saturday to conduct elections in Punjab & KP within 90 days.
Imran Khan expressed his opinion on Twitter stating that “there can be no democracy without rule of law & a strong, independent, credible judicial system ensures rule of law & safeguards the Constitution.”
He further said that the nation appreciates LHC’s decision on elections and stands behind Judiciary for upholding the Constitution and restoring hope in the judicial system.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) late on Friday that Punjab’s elections must take place within 90 days.
Justice Jawad Hassan accepted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) argument and instructed the electoral board to hold the elections within the constitutional parameters as he announced the reserved decision.
