Imran Khan recovering fast, likely to be discharged within 24-48 hours

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is likely to be discharged within 24-48 hours after his medical examination was completed at Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

Imran Khan has been undergoing treatment at Shaukat Khanum Hospital. A four-member medical board is tweaking medicines and treatment after conducting medical check-ups on a daily basis.

Doctors have declared the CT scan and X-ray reports of Both Legs of Imran Khan satisfactory. Doctors have said that Khan’s femoral artery had avoided being hit by the narrowest of margins.

According to doctors, the injuries were improving but Imran Khan will have to be careful in walking for one to two weeks at least.

On the other hand, various political and social personalities have been coming to meet Imran Khan to inquire about his health. Outside the hospital, workers have also been bringing bouquets to visit the party chairman and have been praying for his recovery.

According to the medical board, Imran Khan had four bullet injuries on both legs and a decision is expected to discharge him from the hospital within 24-48 hours.

Earlier, Imran Khan’s physician Dr Faisal Sultan said that the PTI chairman had suffered bullet fragments in the right leg, after which MRI and CT scan were done. While Imran Khan had said that he had been blessed with another chance after surviving the assassination. He had vowed to return to the road on a long march as soon as he recovers.
