Indian vendor goes viral for resemblance with Indian PM Modi

A street vendor in India selling ‘Panipuri’, also known as ‘gol gappe’, has become an internet sensation due to his striking resemblance to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Anilbhai Thakur, who hails from Gujarat, operates a ‘gol gappe’ stall named ‘Tulsi Panipuri Center’.

His attire, glasses, hairstyle, and white beard closely resemble that of Modi, earning him the nickname “PM Modi” among locals.

Originally from Junagadh, Anil took over the family business at the age of 18 and has been selling golgappe at his shop ever since.

Many people visit his stall solely because of his resemblance to the Prime Minister, and Anil often receives requests for selfies from customers.

In interviews with local media, the 71-year-old Anil expressed gratitude for the love and affection he receives from both locals and tourists because of his uncanny similarity to PM Modi.
