Iranian president Raisi visits GC University, Lahore, advocates for education advancement

Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi made a significant visit to the esteemed Government College University (GCU) Lahore, where he delivered a keynote address to both faculty and students, highlighting the importance of advancing arts, science, and technology.

Welcoming President Raisi to the revered halls of Government College Lahore, GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, who recently assumed the position as the institution’s first-ever female Vice Chancellor in its 160-year legacy, extended a warm reception.
