Islamabad’s educational institutions to host new IT labs

SIFC has been established to attract investments from friendly nations in specific sectors, streamlining the process through a centralized platform. Additionally, it aims to enhance the ease of doing business by employing a comprehensive governmental strategy, with the Pakistan Army contributing to efficient facilitation.

In the endeavor to empower youth, modern IT labs will offer instruction in cutting-edge skills, thereby expanding employment prospects. These labs are slated for construction across sixteen degree colleges situated in various regions of Islamabad.

The curriculum of these IT labs encompasses six-month courses covering blockchain, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and game development, tailored to meet market demands. Initially, around 1,000 students will enroll in the first phase, benefiting from courses developed in collaboration with prestigious institutions like NUST, National Skills University, COMSATS, and NUML.

Scheduled to commence in the second week of this month, these courses have garnered significant interest, with approximately 3,600 students already registered.
