Three Israeli informants have disclosed to CNN about the cruel treatment endured by numerous Palestinian detainees at a remote prison camp.
These anonymous officials detailed that Palestinian prisoners at the Sde Teiman camp in Israel’s Negev desert face frequent “horrendous” experiences, including arbitrary beatings, severe physical restraints, forced stress positions, and medical neglect.
Some detainees are handcuffed so tightly and for such prolonged periods that their injured limbs require amputation. Within the camp’s field hospital, others are confined to their beds, compelled to use diapers and consume food through straws, as per the whistleblowers.
According to one informant speaking to CNN, these assaults on prisoners are not for intelligence gathering but rather driven by a desire for “retribution.”
“It was punishment for their actions on October 7 and for their behavior within the camp,” the report cited the whistleblower as stating.
