It seems we’re moving towards martial law, Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that his party will win the elections whether he will be in jail or outside. The former prime minister said that from the circumstances, it seems that we are moving towards martial law.

In an interview to British TV channel ‘4 News’, Imran Khan said that the government was afraid of holding elections and every effort was being made to remove him. He said that he has already been attempted to be assassinated and now he didn’t know if he will be disqualified or not, “but I don’t care.”

Imran Khan said that the country was moving towards martial law, accusing the authorities of trying to kill himself, adding that he is lucky that he is alive.

Imran Khan said that PTI had become the most popular party in history. In response to a question, Imran Khan said that everyone agreed to keep Pakistan’s nuclear program safe.

When asked if many incidents in Afghanistan affect Pakistan, and do you ask the Afghan Taliban to allow girls to go to school, he refrained from sending any message to the Taliban, saying that the Afghan Taliban should be brought into the mainstream first and then human rights can be talked about. If the international community wants to implement human rights in Afghanistan, it should improve relations with the Taliban.

“I know Afghans very well, they don’t like being told what to do. I have been telling them that they should have a relationship with them and talk to them. At this time, the Taliban’s money has also been frozen while isolating them, so why should they listen to anyone?

It should be noted that Imran Khan played an important role in the formation of the Doha Agreement between the Taliban and the United States during his tenure as prime minister, ‘4 News has stated’.
