Jam Khan Shoro expresses gratitude for being elected as provincial minister for irrigation and food departments

Jam Khan Shoro, recently appointed as the provincial minister for the Irrigation and Food departments, expressed gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with this responsibility once again and appointing him as a member of the Sindh cabinet.

Shoro, elected from PS 60, Qasimabad area of Hyderabad on February 8, was sworn in as the provincial minister alongside 8 other senior PPP leaders on Tuesday.

Speaking to a reporter, Shoro conveyed his heartfelt thanks to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, President Asif Ali Zardari, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, and other top party leaders for their trust in him.

He pledged to exert his utmost efforts to serve the people of the province. Shoro emphasized that he, along with his party colleagues, would strive to meet the expectations of the party leaders and leave no stone unturned in delivering for the people of his constituency and the entire Sindh province.

Highlighting the significant mandate given by the people of Sindh, Shoro expressed confidence that under Syed Murad Ali Shah’s leadership, they would confront challenges and ensure equitable development without discrimination.

He reiterated their commitment to being guided by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who had already announced plans to address provincial matters for the benefit of the people of Sindh.

Shoro also anticipated prosperity for the country with Asif Ali Zardari’s reelection as President of Pakistan for a second term. Upon assuming the responsibilities of both ministries, he pledged to issue strict directives to officials to ensure all necessary facilities for farmers and growers in the province.

He asserted that farmers and growers in Sindh would receive fair shares of irrigation water and appropriate rates for their produce.
