Karachi hosts 16th Chief of the Naval Staff International Squash Championship 2024

The 16th Chief of the Naval Staff International Squash Championship 2024 is scheduled to take place from May 8 to May 12 at the Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi, as announced by the Pakistan Navy on Tuesday.

A media briefing for the tournament was held in Karachi, setting the stage for the prestigious event.

With a prize pool of US $20,000 and recognized as the PSA Challenger Series for Men, the championship will feature a total of 23 matches.

Nineteen international players, alongside five Pakistani players, all holding international rankings, are set to compete in this year’s edition.

Representing eight different countries including Egypt, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Japan, Germany, England, and the Netherlands, the players will add an international flair to the competition.

In a move to promote diversity and inclusivity, this year’s event introduces four categories: PSA Women Satellite Series, U-15 Boys, U-13 Boys, and U-15 Girls. Each category will showcase 15 matches, providing a platform for emerging talents to shine.

The championship holds official registration with the Professional Squash Association (PSA) in London, UK, highlighting its significance on the global squash stage.
