Khawaja Asif deems May 9 incident, redline breach

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has unequivocally stated that the redline was crossed on May 9, marking a significant turning point.

In a media address on Saturday, he expressed grave concern over the violation of the country’s identity on the global stage due to the attack on military installations. Asif highlighted the past actions of the PTI founder during his tenure, emphasizing the absence of dialogue initiatives.

He criticized the founder’s current appeals for dialogue, asserting that slogans have now faded into oblivion, and recognition has dawned upon the necessity of resolving political matters through dialogue. The Defence Minister also condemned the derogatory language employed by the PTI founder towards Maulana Fazalur Rehman.
