The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has given the green light to an Eid package, providing ten thousand rupees in cash for deserving individuals across the province.

In addition, an allocation of 7.6 billion rupees has been approved for the procurement of vehicles and security equipment for the Police in the merged districts.

This decision came during a cabinet meeting chaired by Provincial Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in Peshawar today.

The meeting also endorsed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Information Technology Board and a Special Technology Zone Authority for the establishment of Pakistan Digital City.

Furthermore, the cabinet agreed on regulations concerning the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer and members of the Executive Committee of Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stressed the importance of restoring law and order in the province, highlighting it as a top priority of his government. He expressed plans to initiate the implementation of a comprehensive plan aimed at achieving this soon, as he believes that a stable law and order situation is crucial for the progress of any region.

He also stressed the need to enhance healthcare services at public hospitals, stating that the government has already reinstated the ‘health-card’ facility. Gandapur expressed optimism that with improved facilities, people would no longer need to rely on private hospitals for treatment, as all necessary amenities would be provided in public healthcare institutions.
