Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar addressed concerns regarding Bushra Bibi’s health, dismissing allegations and urging openness in discussing her well-being.

In Islamabad, Federal Minister for Law Nazir Tarar, accompanied by Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, held a press conference where he acknowledged the sacrifices of our armed forces in the fight against terrorism.

Addressing concerns about missing persons, he stated that despite perceptions that governments are not serious about resolving these cases, the current government has made significant efforts in this regard.

He said that the government is fully committed to addressing its responsibilities, highlighting that the issue of missing persons cannot be resolved overnight.

Tarar noted that the issue of missing persons was initially raised during the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) era, with over 10,200 cases referred to the commission. He explained that caretaker governments faced limitations in enacting legislation but reiterated the government’s continued seriousness in addressing this issue.

Highlighting the complexities surrounding missing persons, Tarar mentioned the role of social media in propagating information and the formation of a commission in 2011 to address the issue. He stressed that terrorism and internal affairs have complicated Pakistan’s situation over the past four decades.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar chimed in, discussing developments in the country’s political and economic landscape. He dismissed narratives of hatred and division, stressing Pakistan’s progress in various sectors, including the stock market and international investments.

Attaullah Tarar criticized attempts by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to destabilize the country for personal gain, affirming that Pakistan’s interests come first.

Tarar also addressed economic challenges, highlighting plans to digitize tax reforms and positive indicators in the economy. He stressed the need for collective efforts to bring about change.
