LHC grants permission for PTI rally in NA-119

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has made a decision regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) request to hold a rally in NA-199.

The decision was made during a hearing presided over by Judge Justice Rasool Hassan Syed, who listened to the plea put forth by PTI’s leader Shehzad Farooq.

During the hearing, PTI’s lawyer argued that the party was fully prepared to hold the rally wherever the Deputy Commissioner (DC) deemed appropriate. The lawyer’s argument seemed to have been persuasive, as the court overturned the previous decision to deny PTI permission to hold the rally.

The LHC directed the DC Lahore to promptly inform PTI about the location where they could hold the rally.

This decision signifies a positive development for PTI, as they now have the green light from the LHC to move forward with their planned rally in NA-199.

It also highlights the importance of due process and adherence to the rule of law in resolving disputes and making decisions within the legal system.
