The Punjab government on Tuesday appointed Mansoor Ahmad (Grade-19) officer as the director general public relations (DGPR).
According to a notification, he has replaced Saman Rai, who has been appointed as the executive director of the Punjab Council of Arts. “He (Mansoor Ahmad) shall also hold the additional charge of the post of (the) secretary to (the) government of Punjab, Information and Culture Department, in addition to his own duties, for a period of three months or till the posting of a regular incumbent, whichever falls earlier,” read the notification.
