Maryam Nawaz rolls out ‘Clinics on Wheels’ project

Addressing an event in Lahore, CM Maryam stated that previous government’s actions hindered the initiatives of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz. She highlighted the time required to organize a new government, stating it takes up to three months.

Regarding Nawaz Sharif’s involvement in projects, she noted his satisfaction with their launch. Speaking specifically about the “Clinics on Wheels” initiative, she stated the importance of the entire clinic reaching the masses.

CM Maryam outlined the operation schedule for the mobile clinics in underprivileged areas, particularly focusing on services for pregnant women.

She pledged to bolster medical staff recruitment, prioritizing doctors from every district. Additionally, she announced plans to establish cardiology centers in eight districts, including Mianwali, Sialkot, Jehlum, and Layyah.CM Maryam urged the health secretary to expedite the implementation of the free insulin project.

Reflecting on the May 9 events, CM Maryam condemned them as the darkest chapter in the country’s history, attributing blame to those seeking power. She stated that such actions would not be forgiven, especially for compromising the nation’s integrity and disrespecting its martyrs.
