In a distinguished ceremony held at Karachi Corps, military officers and soldiers were bestowed with esteemed honors including the Star of Excellence Military, the Excellence Military Medal, and the Medal of Good Conduct. Hosted by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of Pakistan Army, the event witnessed the presence of Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The ceremony drew a significant gathering of senior military officials alongside the families of the honored individuals, reflecting the collective recognition and appreciation within the military community. Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar took the opportunity to engage with the families of the martyrs, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their profound sacrifices in service to the nation.
During the ceremony, nine families of fallen soldiers were solemnly presented with the Medal of Good Conduct, symbolizing the enduring legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Additionally, the ISPR announced the recognition of 14 officers with the prestigious Military Star of Excellence and honored 19 officers with the Military Excellence Medal, acknowledging their exemplary dedication and performance in their military duties.
