Momina Iqbal slams false narrative on cricketer messages

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal is expressing frustration over the misrepresentation of her recent remarks about receiving messages from cricketers on social media.

In her Instagram story, she criticized those spreading misinformation for attention and clarified that she never made any negative comments about any cricketer.

She asserted that if she did receive messages, she would handle them herself.

Momina condemned the trend of spreading negativity for personal gain, particularly targeting those who exploit controversies for attention.

She stressed the importance of mutual respect and unity, highlighting the need for positivity for the nation’s well-being.

Furthermore, Momina urged her followers to focus on more important issues, such as the recent tragic incident involving Maryam Bibi’s death on the Millat Express, and to avoid unnecessary disputes.

Responding to a question in a recent interview by Wasi Shah about messages from cricketers, Momina explained that such interactions are common in the entertainment industry and typically consist of well-wishes and greetings, without specific recollection of the cricketers’ names.
