Multan Police arrests PTI leader Dr Rubina Akhter

On Thursday, Multan Police apprehended Dr. Rubina Akhter, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), during a protest in the nine number area of Multan, coinciding with the first anniversary of May 9. She was taken into custody and transported to Police Station Mati Tal.

Punjab Chief Minister also condemned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for their involvement in vandalism against state and public properties, during a visit to Jinnah House in Lahore.

Leadership at the highest levels of both civilian and military sectors strongly denounced the riots on May 9, expressing determination to apprehend the perpetrators and hold the planners accountable without leniency.
