Naqvi reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to justice for Shangla attack perpetrators

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently met with officials from the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad to discuss the ongoing investigation into the Shangla suicide attack, which claimed the lives of five Chinese nationals.

The meeting aimed to update the Chinese special investigation team on the progress made in the investigation so far.

Minister Naqvi briefed the Chinese team on the status of the investigation and assured them of Pakistan’s commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice. Discussions also centered on bolstering security measures and ensuring the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.

In addition to meeting with the special investigation team, Minister Naqvi also held talks with the Chinese ambassador, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for China-Pakistan cooperation.

The Chinese Embassy reiterated their stance against any attempts to sabotage China-Pakistan cooperation, emphasizing their commitment to supporting Pakistan’s socio-economic development and efforts to improve the lives of its people.

The embassy spokesperson labeled terrorism as humanity’s common enemy and stressed the global community’s responsibility to combat terrorism and prevent such tragedies from recurring. China and Pakistan expressed their determination to hold terrorists accountable for their actions.
