Nawab Aslam Raisani formally joins JUI-F

Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani joined the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) on Wednesday in Maulana Fazl Rehman’s presence.

A sizable contingent of Nawab Raisani’s supporters and other key religious party officials were also there.

Nawab Raisani addressed the group, saying, “Starting now, I am a part of the JUI-F.” The former CM was warmly welcomed by JUI leaders and supporters.

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazl stated that “after numerous efforts, we finally succeeded in getting Nawab Raisani on board.”

He emphasized that the party was committed to defending the rights of Baloch citizens and said that Nawab Raisani and JUI had worked together to defend the Reko Diq copper and gold mine.

Speaking to the crowd, Nawab Raisani stated that in 2008, while serving as the chief minister of Balochistan, he maintained friendly relations with the party.

The former CM of Balochistan stated, “We fought together to preserve the rights of the people of Balochistan, and this will continue in the future.”

He declared that using the religious party’s platform, he would further up his fight for the rights of the Baloch people.
