Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that Nawaz Sharif does not believe in the government of his brother for his return. He said that Shehbaz Sharif’s own children were not ready to believe in him and that’s why they were not returning to Pakistan.
He said that one week ago, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had declared Imran Khan incompetent but without even holding any public meeting with Imran or any central leadership in Kurram the people rejected the decision of the ECP.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore Fawad said that Nawaz Sharif was saying that there are 2,000 people in the Long March, then why did the government go to the Supreme Court to stop the Long March?
He said that why did the security of the whole of Pakistan be installed in Islamabad? He said that if there are 2,000-3,000 people then you should not worry and let us come to Islamabad comfortably.
Fawad further said that they were not saying to bring Imran Khan or PTI back into the government but the demand has been only to go to people for free and fair elections and let them decide about who will lead the country and all the institutions should surrender to it.
He said that the people of Pakistan have rejected the ousting of Imran Khan’s government and that the decision to oust Imran Khan by a vote of no confidence was wrong.
Talking about the government’s announcement of maintaining Petroleum prices at the current level he said that the prices were continuously decreasing in the international market but the people of Pakistan were not being provided with the relief.
PTI leader said that it was necessary to take a long march to the destination by avoiding every accident and that is the reason a journey of more than 10-12 kilometres has not been possible in one day.
Talking about Day 5 he said that the march will travel through Gujranwala to Pindi bypass and tomorrow it will embark a journey to Gakhar. He also told that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will address the public at different points.
