Jahangir denied the authenticity of the screenshot and condemned the actions of those responsible for spreading it.
She expressed pity for their behavior and emphasized that such disrespectful conduct does not align with her upbringing.
Consequently, Jahangir has made her social media account private to avoid further harassment.
Despite facing backlash, she maintained that she remains unfazed by the trolling and urged her detractors to redirect their energy towards more constructive activities.
Prior to this incident, Jahangir had attempted to ease tensions by referring to all national cricketers as her ‘brothers.’
This move came after her initial statement regarding Babar Azam garnered criticism from his fans.
