Nepra tells DISCOs to stop load-shedding during exams

Nepra, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, addressed complaints about power outages during exams in different parts of the country.

Nepra instructed all electricity distribution companies to ensure there are no power cuts at exam centers.

The regulatory body received reports that load shedding was disrupting exams and affecting students.

Nepra stated that these companies must provide continuous electricity to avoid affecting student performance during exams.

The authority urged all distribution companies to check and stop any power outages during exam times.

Nepra warned that it would take action if distribution companies did not follow these instructions.
