No load shedding during sahar, iftar hours, orders PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity during The Holy Month of Ramadan, after which the Ministry of Energy has decided not to load load-shedding during sahar, iftar and taraweeh hours and instructions have been issued to all power distribution companies of the country in this regard.

The Ministry of Energy has said that electricity supply will have to be ensured during Sahar, Iftar and Taraweeh. It added that zero load management will be done one hour before and one hour after Sahar hours, while zero load management will be done one hour before and 3 hours after Iftar hours.

According to the Ministry of Energy, control rooms will be established at the level of operation circle for uninterrupted supply of electricity, special teams have been formed at the division and sub-division level to resolve complaints.

The Ministry of Energy says that additional transformers and trolleys will be available in case of transformer failure.
