UNICEF has issued a stark warning, revealing that a Palestinian child in Gaza is either killed or injured every 10 minutes, based on data from the territory’s Ministry of Health.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) emphasizes this troubling statistic regarding child casualties in Israel’s conflict with Gaza in its recent assessment of the situation.
Furthermore, OCHA notes that Israeli authorities have denied or obstructed 15 percent of humanitarian aid missions to northern Gaza and certain areas in southern Gaza that necessitate coordination, between April 1 and Friday.
