Pakistan offers Gary Kristen coach slot for national crikect team

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is actively seeking a new coach for the national cricket team, with former South African player Gary Kirsten emerging as a potential candidate after initial talks with Mike Hesson and Shane Watson.

Sources reveal that PCB has extended an offer to 56-year-old Gary Kirsten for a long-term coaching role, to which Kirsten has requested time to consider.

Kirsten, renowned for his coaching stints with the Indian and South African teams, is among the top contenders for the position.

Additionally, PCB has reached out to Luke Ronkey, the assistant coach of New Zealand, regarding the vacancy. Ronkey is currently deliberating on the offer and is expected to respond soon.
