Jordan Secures Victory with a 3-0 Win at Jinnah Stadium

In a significant match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers held at the Jinnah Stadium, the Pakistan men’s football team faced a formidable challenge as they were humbled by Jordan with a 3-0 defeat.

The star player of Jordan, Musa Al-Taamari, showcased his prowess by netting two goals, while Ali Olwan contributed with another, securing a decisive victory for Jordan.

The game witnessed a swift start from the Asian Cup finalists, with Al-Taamari finding the back of the net twice within the first 10 minutes. Despite the early setback, Pakistan’s defense displayed resilience and determination, preventing further onslaughts from the visitors.

However, the loss marks Pakistan’s third consecutive defeat in the ongoing second round of the Asian qualifiers. With this defeat, Pakistan remains at the bottom of Group G in the Asian Qualifiers, while Jordan secures the third position with four points.
