PHF secretary delighted to see team reach Azlan Shah Cup final after 13 years

Rana Mujahid, the Secretary of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), expressed his joy at seeing the team reach the final of the Azlan Shah Cup after 13 years.

Sharing his thoughts, Mujahid said, “It’s great to see positive news from Pakistan hockey again.” He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Rana Mashhood, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, for supporting the revival of hockey in Pakistan.

“Pakistan has played outstandingly despite many obstacles,” he said.

Mujahid expressed hope that the team would continue to perform well in the tournament’s final match.

He also highlighted the contribution of head coach Roelant Oltmans, who has played a key role in improving the team’s skills and morale.

Mujahid noted that PHF President Tariq Bugti worked hard to secure funding for the federation’s activities.
