Pakistan surpasses India to reach number four in ICC ODI rankings

Kiwis, England, Aussies hold top three positions respectively

Pakistan has gained number four slot in ICC ODI rankings following their victory over West Indies.

According to the latest rankings, Pakistan Cricket Team surpassed India to achieve the number four position. The Pakistani team also sits at fourth in the Super League rankings.

Moreover, New Zealand sits at the top with 125 rating points while England is at number two with 124 rating points. Australia, Pakistan and India are at number three to five positions with a difference of one point only, having 107, 106 and 105 rating points respectively.

During the current series against West Indies, Pakistan was victorious in all three matches with comprehensive 5 wickets, 120 & 53 runs victory margins respectively.

Pakistan’s next tour is scheduled with the Netherlands in August where three ODIs will be played between the two teams. Pakistan’s series against Sri Lanka remains at suspension because of economic crisis faced by Sri Lanka.

Following that, Pakistan will participate in Asia Cup 2022 followed by a series with England at the end of this year.
