Pakistani players endure 27-hour ordeal in Dubai amid heavy rains

Heavy rains in Dubai have not only disrupted the lives of local residents but have also led to a challenging situation for Pakistani players.

Several national cricketers, including former captains Misbah-ul-Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Kamran Akmal, and Umar Gul, found themselves stranded at Dubai Airport due to the adverse weather conditions.

Misbah-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal took to social media to share their frustration after being stuck at the airport for a grueling twenty-seven hours. Kamran Akmal expressed disappointment with the service provided by the private airline, while Misbah-ul-Haq acknowledged the challenges faced by Emirates Airlines but emphasized that the situation could have been handled better.

Both players highlighted the inconvenience faced by passengers, including long queues at counters and delays in communication.

Meanwhile, Abdul Razzaq remained confined to Dubai Airport along with Umar Gul, adding to the plight of the stranded players. The unexpected delay has disrupted their travel plans and left them in a state of uncertainty. Despite the inconvenience, the players have remained resilient, hoping for a swift resolution to their predicament.

The ordeal faced by Pakistani players underscores the impact of adverse weather conditions on travel and highlights the importance of effective contingency plans to mitigate such challenges.
