Pakistani rupee falls further against dollar

Karachi: The devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar persists in the interbank market.

On the second day of the business week, there was another increase of 5 paisas in the value of the American currency as recorded resulting in the dollar closing at PKR 278.38 in the interbank market.

It’s worth noting that the previous day at the close of interbank trading, the dollar was priced at PKR 278.33 marking a 2 paisa increase.

On the other hand, in the open market, the dollar remains unchanged being sold at PKR 279.80.
