The Pakistani Rupee strengthened by 8 paise against the US dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs 278.12, up from the previous day’s close of Rs 278.20 on Friday.
Earlier, the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reported that the open market buying rate for the dollar was Rs 277.00, while the selling rate was Rs 279.70.
Meanwhile, the Euro dropped by 49 paise, closing at Rs 298.62, down from its previous close of Rs 299.11, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
