Pakistan’s T20 combination is not perfect: Shahdab Khan

Pakistan’s bowler Shadab Khan addressed the media, acknowledging that the defeat in the 3rd T20 International against New Zealand wasn’t unexpected, attributing it to the underperformance of new players, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking at a press conference, leg spinner Shadab Khan emphasized the importance of focusing on the team’s performance with the T20 World Cup approaching.

He expressed concern about Pakistan’s imperfect T20 combination, suggesting it might hinder their chances of winning the World Cup.

Shadab stressed the need for young players to adapt to modern-day cricket but cautioned against indulging in a blame game in the event of defeat.

Regarding the rotation policy, Shadab mentioned that it provided opportunities for new and young cricketers, expressing hope that Ammad Wasim would be given a chance under this policy.

Responding to inquiries about his potential appointment as vice-captain, Shadab stated that it would ultimately be decided by the Pakistan Cricket Board Management.

Earlier, both the Pakistan and New Zealand teams engaged in a practice session at Qaddafi Stadium, with their next match scheduled for April 25.
